ਇਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਵਲ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਸਮੁੱਚੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਸਰੋਤ ਵੱਲ ਰਹੇ; ਸਮੱਸਤ ਅੰਧਕਾਰ (ਹਨੇਰਾ) ਬਹੁਤ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। (ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਹਨੇਰਾ ਇਕ ਥਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਸਕਦੇ; ਜਾਂ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਜਾਂ ਹਨੇਰਾ ਹੈ) ਜਦੋਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਸਮੁੱਚੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰਤਾ ਦੇ ਸਰੋਤ ਵੱਲ ਰਹੇ; ਸਮੱਸਤ ਅਸ਼ੁਧੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਪਵਿੱਤਰਤਾਵਾਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਜਦੋਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਦੇ ਸਰੋਤ ਵੱਲ ਰਹੇ; ਸਮੱਸਤ ਸੋਗ, ਵੇਦਨਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਗ਼ਮ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜਦੋਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਸੱਚ ਦੇ ਸਰੋਤ ਵੱਲ ਰਹੇ; ਮਿਥਿਆ ਦਾ ਸਮੱਸਤ ਪਸਾਰਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਅਕਾਲ ਰੂਪ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਵੱਲ ਰਹੇ; ਮੌਤ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜਦੋਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ਰ ਗੁਰੂ ਵੱਲ ਰਹੇ; ਮਾਇਆ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ 'ਤੂੰ' ਵੱਲ ਰਹੇ; 'ਮੈਂ' ਬਹੁਤ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਬਾਬਾ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ A Gurmukhs face is always turned towards the Guru.When face is always turned towards the Source of all Lights; all darkness is left far behind.
